This update focuses on closing gaps, boosting reliability, and adding a pre-emptive guard capability. Three highlights:
1 | Multi-Segment SafeGuard
- Split your day into multiple segments, each with its own guard duration.
- The system auto-switches settings by time segment—no manual toggles needed.
- You can leave sleep hours blank to avoid disturbance.
2 | Bulk Emergency SMS
- If your primary contact doesn’t call back within 30 minutes (based on the number you set), the app automatically broadcasts the same SOS message to all backup contacts.
- Goal: reduce loss of golden rescue time and avoid single-point failure when disasters also affect the primary contact.
3 | Reverse Guard (Pre-emptive)
- Supports both Safe Areas and Ban Points to push risk mitigation before incidents happen.
- When entering a Ban Point or leaving the Safe Area, the app periodically sends your live location until you exit the Ban Point or return to the Safe Area.
- Use cases:
- Prevent children/elders from getting lost or entering hazardous places.
- Immediate alerts if a user is forcibly taken outside their normal living zone.
Known Limits & Recommendations
- Indoor location can still drift; this version uses dwell thresholds and paced checks to reduce false alarms.
- Device power-saving policies vary and may affect background behavior; on first use, please follow the guidance to set battery-optimization exceptions so alarms can pop up reliably.
- SMS/Calls depend on local carrier quality; this version improves reach with multi-contact fan-out and auto-dial.
Release Timing
This is a preview. Features are under closed testing and fine-tuning; the final content will match the published store build.
