A: Under normal use, it’s expected that no alerts appear if you haven’t encountered any dangerous event—this app simply runs quietly in the background to keep you safe.

2️⃣ Q: Will this app leak my personal data, or secretly collect and send my information somewhere?
A: Absolutely not— the app only transmits information when an emergency occurs, sending your location to the emergency contact you provided. It operates entirely offline, collects no data, and does not require any network connection.

3️⃣ Doesn’t this system require an internet connection? In today’s world, everyone uses the internet—so why does this system operate offline?
A: When our team first designed the app, we weighed many factors—privacy concerns, regional differences (some remote areas may lack internet), potential network delays, and data‐usage limits. In the end, we chose to rely on the phone’s most basic functions so that life‐saving messages are guaranteed to be sent.

4️⃣ Q: I was in a minor collision, not a severe crash—why didn’t the system trigger?
A: The app is designed to respond to serious collisions. In a minor bump where the impact isn’t strong enough, it not triggering is normal. The system’s primary function is to call for help on your behalf when you’re unable to do so yourself.

5️⃣ Q: If my phone is so well-protected that it doesn’t register an impact, does that mean the system won’t be able to call for help?
Yes. Our design team built this in: if you activate AccidentGuard and your phone remains completely immobile for a set period—without any movements or interactions like picking it up—the system’s risk-scoring algorithm will hit the danger threshold and alert you. If you don’t respond, it will initiate the emergency reporting process. So you don’t need to worry about where you place your phone; beyond impact detection, the system uses this scoring to determine emergencies. Whenever an incident occurs and you’re unable to call for help yourself, the system will do it for you.

6️⃣ Q: What is the sequence of steps for initiating the automated SMS and phone call process?
A：

1. Upon detecting an accident or when the countdown ends → display the “I’m OK” screen and play an alert sound.

2. If there is no response within 60 seconds → automatically send a location SMS to the emergency contact.

3. After waiting another 15 seconds → automatically place the emergency phone call.

7️⃣ Q: How does the free trial and subscription model work?
A: New users enjoy a 7-day free trial; afterward, you can choose between an annual plan or a monthly plan. Both options are very affordable—prices vary by country and range from the cost of a drink to a meal. We want everyone to be able to afford it.

8️⃣ Q: What’s the difference between the free version (without a subscription) and the version after subscribing?
A：A: The free version currently includes only the 12-hour SafeGuard feature. You can adjust the duration if needed or use the AccidentGuard feature instead. All features are fully accessible during the 7-day free trial after download; once the trial ends, a subscription is required to continue using the app.

A: The design team considered the risk of prank calls and the complexity of integrating with different countries’ emergency services, so the app requires a personal emergency contact’s mobile number—ensuring the location SMS reliably includes your exact coordinates.
