For Better Protection|Three New Features Released

In most accidents, the outcome often hinges on just two things—someone knows you’re in trouble, and they know where you are. This update makes alerts faster, reach wider, and flows more controllable. With that goal, we’re releasing three updates: Reverse Guard, multi-interval SafeGuard timing, and Group SMS.

Reverse Guard

Reverse Guard: create Safe Areas and Ban Points; when the configured conditions are met, it alerts instantly. This shifts risk detection earlier so “shouldn’t be here / shouldn’t be staying” can be caught at the first moment.

Early detection helps prevent tragedies. For example: in the Okazaki Asahi case, if this system had existed, it could have made it clear much earlier that she was at her ex-boyfriend’s residence.

SafeGuard|Multi-Interval Guard Timing

For daily use, we keep the flow you’re familiar with and simply hand time control back to you.

Multi-interval SafeGuard timing: you can add multiple guard intervals and adjust each duration; only the timing changes, the rest of the flow remains the same. No change to the steps you already know—just a reminder rhythm that better matches your life.

The original SafeGuard remains available; you can freely switch as you prefer.

Group SMS

The recent flooding in Guangfu Township, Hualien (Taiwan) made us realize that your chosen contact may be affected by the same disaster. One-to-one emergency messaging may not be enough, so we added Group SMS.

Notification breadth matters. If the primary contact can’t respond, the message shouldn’t get stuck. Group SMS: if there’s no callback within 30 minutes, the system immediately sends a group SMS to all backup contacts, automatically widening the reach and reducing single-point failure.

We Aim to Fix “Those Few Minutes”

Most accidents aren’t about lacking a phone or a button—it’s that in the moment, people can’t operate the device: fainting, dazed after a sudden stop, being trapped, or simply unable to reach the phone. These three updates fill three gaps:

Faster: proactive detection via Reverse Guard (conditions → instant alert).
